Amazing Transformation

0

Despite that I have worked with rescue animals for over 25 years, I still get amazed watching them change. It’s the best job ever.

GummiBear 24 years old, came up to Stuttgart Germany, to our Senior Sanctuary beginning of March. He looked rough. Never did anyone think he would pass the veterinarian inspection down in Napoli, Italy before leaving. But the forces were with us.

The third picture is Max –my son– holding GummiBear, and the second picture is Katrin giving him acupuncture. The first picture up left was taken yesterday.

Isn’t he gorgeous! What a transformation.

Animals need their time, and different treatments. What we do, is listening to them and following their directions. Actually, they know the best.

Afterward, are we letting every educated person –in their skills — come and give them their treatments.

Our veterinarian Frau Spotl took blood samples, and when the result showed he was very low on iron and had Cushing, and heart murmur. With the right medication, we got fantastic results.

Of course, not to forget, love and tenderness are huge ingredients in their healing process.

That’s Amore!

Amazingly, we can provide Miracle some Sunshine during these dark days (its getting brighter day by day) He loved having warmth relaxing his muscles.

I think this was the first time Miracle received Solarium for Horses. He is 26 years old rescue horse/retired from being a riding school horse in southern Italy. (Now in S Germany together with us as an AWL Horse.)

Two more horses from the same stable are coming up the end of this month. And we will provide the same service as we give Miracle.

All your donations (earmarked Horses) will go to give them the best services. Please, help us help them to have the wonderful retirement that they so deserve. Not end up in a slaughterhouse with anxiety and worthlessness as their last feelings.

WE cannot save them all, however we can all help to make a difference.

That’s Amore,
