Greetings from Figge Fulvio

0

Many ask whats the best part of rescuing animals?

I think the biggest joy is when we find a homeless dog his/her forever home, and receiving greetings and updates from the new family.

I can tell you, our smiles are big.

Suddenly, we have filled our minds and hearts with positive energy again.

Fulvio –now Figge was rescued in southern Italy. He really had some bad luck the first year, and his foster mom loved him dearly, but couldn’t keep him. Then, we found a wonderful family up in Sweden. Figge finally got his “own” family. He gets great love, exercise, and loves to window-shopping.

AWL was able to drive him the whole way up–

That’s Amore!

What Kind of Language do the Animals Communicate in?

0

My column from Tidningen Nära

What Kind of Language do the Animals Communicate in?
Can a foreign dog from Italy understand the Swedish language when adopted in that country?
The brilliance of animals is that they can communicate in any language.
Animals talk in images and emotions. Its as if we would see a silent film that changes shades like a mood ring. They have clarity in what they are sending and do not send out different or contradictory signals as we humans can do. We can say one thing but mean something completely different.
Children and animals have the cleanest and clearest communication.
What is scientifically proven is, when animals communicate (or small children) they transmit images. These inner images are 0.4 seconds faster than our spoken words. We can think of something and often the animal perceives (or receives) it.
Body language is of course also a major factor in the whole process of communication, just as with humans. However, the animals must be required to learn not their own language but also the human language.
Giovanni was a small terrier abandoned in a shelter. I sat down beside him and felt a tremendous sadness flowing from the little dog. He had lost someone he loved!
The owner of the shelter nodded, and told me that the dog’s owner had died, but the remaining members from the family didn’t want him. I laid down next to him and was only in the moment.
I was later told where his master was buried, and I took the dog with me to the cemetery. Directly, Giovanni jumped out and began to sniff, and then moved up to the newly made grave.
Later Giovanni jumped into the car and his energy field had changed. Several days later, we could see a huge difference in his behavior. He ate, and he eyes sparkled again.
At the cemetery, I could “think” the emotions in peace and quiet while Giovanni picked up “pictures”. There was no one around that could interfere with us, with his or her negative feelings, or send pictures that they felt sorry for Giovanni. Pity turns into negative emotions and allows children and animals to translate them into a message of  “useless”. They feel like “no one likes me”.
A few days later Giovanni was adopted. His new energies attracted the new family, an elderly couple, like his former master.
Animal Language has no words; energies can speak all languages. If we are clean and clear in our thoughts and flow we then become understandable. Swedish as well as  Italian.

Germany and Sweden Rescue Mission

0

Arischa and Snuffle were staying in my house for a couple of days here in southern Germany. I like to have new rescue dogs staying at my house since I can read them and get to know them. It has happened that people have adopted dogs and then blamed something on the dog that was not true. In this case I can document everything. Of course, some things can change at the new owner that didn’t happen here, due to different kind of energies or not well-behaved children 😉

We the flew Stuttgart, Germany to Stockholm, Sweden to meet the two new moms. Arichas new mom I had met earlier 20 years ago when I worked with her horse(s) She also volunteer for Swedish organisation that help Spanish dogs (she adopted from there too, great dogs)

Sweet Eva came and had brought a blanket for Snuffle since it was cold- They bonded directly. Snuffle had been bought as a small puppy, the owner had got tired and abandon him. Snuffle was like a happy flying squirrel. Me and my children loved him. We were so happy Eva had adopted him, or we would have kept him…..#14 dogs I am trying to cut down on the amount of rescue dogs.

I am so touched and thankful Eva for the handmade gift you made for me. It has a special place in my home. Thank you !

Heading down to Napels Italy Shelter Mission

MISSION TIME

With my best volunteer we drove down to Napoli, Italy again. We were so exited and with the SUV full of dog food that we bought in Germany, we were even more exited. –Thank you for your donations, we cannot do this without your help.

We picked up beautiful Nicky and brought her with us to Rossella Shelter. A shelter AWL helped during 2009-2010 and now we are back. Rossella had moved and her shelter was top. Nice and clean.

Its a tough job carrying all these heavy bags…but who said we couldn’t. Getting nice summer arms.

As always so many beautiful souls. This guy was so happy to get love and company. He is waiting for his home.

Another little cutie.

Two cuties having a conversation.

Rossella has worked with rescuing dogs for over 30 years. Amazing since it is a very tough work with no salary.
Love and hugs when we got to see each other again.

The Best Christmas News Ever

0

Just for a couple of days I posted Iris searching after a home. Christmas Eve, I had promised myself not to be on FB or checking my emails. Disappointed and frustrated I had to admit, it was darn hard not to check. I tried to comfort myself that I only had to check three times during the whole day.

Wow, what is happening to us!

However, I am so glad I did. The best Christmas news was laying there waiting for my approval.

A family in Stockholm, Sweden wanted to adopt Iris, would I say yes to them?

Amazing news….Iris is out from the horrible shelter and now in a foster home, the mom that rescued her ones.

That’s Amore Iris!
