Have Mercy

Dogs Umbra

Friends, this one is a real mission of mercy and going to be tough. This is a bonded pair whose owner just died. The yellow dog, Rona, is a 9-year-old spayed female. The white one is Rino, a 2-year-old neutered male. Both are housebroken, leash-trained and used to living indoors. They are still in their owner’s home and someone is coming to look after them, but they need to be out within the next few weeks. Next stop is canile if they don’t find a home, and that will crush them. Please, please help spread the word. They are near Orvieto in Umbria, but I can help with delivery beyond the region.

Friends, this is a true mission of mercy and it will be hard. This is a tied couple whose owner just died. The Yellow dog, Rona, is a 9-Year-old spayed female. The White one is Rino, a 2-Year-old neutral male. Both are domesticated, trained on a leash and used to living in the house. They’re still at their masters and someone comes to take care of them, but they have to be out in the next few weeks. Next stop is kennel if they don’t find a house and this will crush them. Please, please help me spread the word. They are near Orvieto in Umbria, Italy, we can help with delivery beyond the region. (Italy, Germany, Sweden)

LITTLE RESCUE HONEY

1

This is honey! She had a rough start in life. Abandon and according to her wounds, locked up left to die.

Our wonderful AWL volunteer Nicky Mormino was out walking when she saw this poor little thing. Nicky didn’t hesitate to take her and rich her to our veterinarian Dr.Damiani. In this Campania area they estimate that the number of strays are over 75.000. And all animal lovers homes are filled with rescue animals.

Honey is around 6-7 months old and is now resting out and getting treated and a lot of love and food, everything she need in an American family home.

We will keep you updates.

HOSPICE 2017

0

Last week, I got a very important question from a friend.
“Are you becoming more an adoption organisation now? I thought you didn’t want it that way!”

I love this friend, since she dares to ask me honest questions.

It could seem like we are becoming more an adoption organisation, since lately we have helped many dogs finding wonderful homes in Sweden.
AWL will help those dogs that comes in our way, on our path to our next mission/project, a Hospice in Toscany.

We are working and planing behind the curtains on our new Hospice 2017. Nothing can keep me away from that goal, together with some great Animal Friends.
However,  during our planning moments, we cannot stop helping animals that are trapped in cages for years, or found on the streets in bad shapes. Many fantastic families are waiting to open their doors for them. Why not help souls to happiness while planning a bigger cause!

The Hospice is my life, my love, my goal and together we can create a fantastic environment for those poor soles that are trapped forever in cages, that no ones sees. Seniors, that some people doesn’t think have any value. For them to have their own bedroom, a garden to spend relaxing time, and healthy food. But most important, someone that will love them back as much as they love us.

When its time for the animals to leave Mother Earth, to help them cross the bridge to the other side –together with a great veterinarian team.

That’s Amore!

Good and Bad Luck

Sweet Daryl has been with us for a couple of weeks. He was found with a strange virus and was doomed by many. Dr Vittorio gave him medicine and we found a foster home
Daryl had to move to another foster, and on his way up to the apartment his tail was caught in the elevator. 26 stitches !!!

Poor little thing.

Its a Promise

The days goes by quickly, amazing scary. So much we want to do, so many souls we want to rescue.

Most of us start New Year with a a resolution of what we want to accomplish. Our promise is to continue working hard rescuing animals. Finding homes, spay and neuter missions, making sure wounded animals (strays) get medical care, food donations to shelters–that allows adoptions outside Italy.

And…open a hospice clinic in Toscana 2017

I hope you will continue following and supporting our work. We cannot do it without you…you are an important link to our work.

This is What we Do

This is what we do; find, evaluate, treat, love, medicine, family

That’s Amore!
Look with your eyes, brain and heart heart emoticon not only eyes.
The year 2009We found her locked into a construction site. There were people but no one gave her food. I put on my black tights and black hood and got her out. She pooped grass.
I took her to a veterinarian who screamed that we had to euthanize this dog. It was probably full of diseases!
I don’t keep animals alive only to have them suffering, but I know that sometimes we have a tendency to look too much with our eyes.
The vet then said, this dog would cost a lot of money medical wise. It was cheaper to euthanize the dog.
I refused. My mind and heart said something else.
We changed veterinarian. Tests were being made…no diseases!
I found a family, a fantastic family.
They never had any excuses to leave her behind even if they moved around the world.
No excuse even when they got a child.
Still today, I get pictures of Brandy, she is aging full of love.
Thank you to all of you who dare to support AWL projects and missions. You are a big part of this story.
Thank you always to you Blessilda and Husband Simpson heart emoticon

DOGS WITHOUT HOMES

0
This is Friki from Toscana, Italy. You can see she is not a big dog, 15 kg.
She was abandon by her family. After 4 years they didn’t have time anymore.
She has been in the shelter for 6 months and doesn’t understand what she did wrong?

She is loving and affectionate, she is constantly searching for contact. Sometimes she can become a little jealous since she is afraid of being replaced. Right now she is living together with other dogs.

She is sterilized, vaccinated, leichmania and heart-worm tested = negative.

Sweet Olivia, soon to be one year old from Toscana Italy. She was found on the streets scared and lonely. Olivia is a small dog only 7 kg.

She is adorable and a little lovely brat and not afraid of anything. She is a dog with energy and would love to go to dog school. Olivia love attention and to be cuddled, a lovely friend to snuggle with and be out hiking with.

Olivia is steralized, vaccinate and tested for leischmania and heart-worm = negative

She can go to the perfect home: Northern Italy, Germany and Sweden

They call her Neve, that means snow in Italian.
Her owner took her one night and threw her over a fence into a small open shelter with dogs inside. The dogs attacked her.
Neve is 1 year old and full of love. Sensitive and need a warm family/person that will see her in her eyes and promise she can stay.
She will this week be sterilized, vaccinated and tested for leischmania.

She can go to the perfect home in Italy, Germany or Sweden.

Baglico was found outside a gypsy camp in Portugal, disoriented and with burns in his face.

He had got acid splashed to his face. Wonderful volunteers brought him to the veterinarian for treatment. Today he is doing fine however he needs a home before the cold winter is coming.
A house with a fenced in garden would be genial. Calm loving family, maybe an older person.
Balgico is calm and sweet, only 25 cm and 7/8kg.
Tested negative for leischmania and heart-worm.

Can go to the perfect home in Germany and Sweden
